What to Bring to Your Boston Bridal Session? | Boston Wedding Photographer
While you’re in good hands booking your Boston Bridal Session with Ryan Richardson Photography, there are a few things we recommend bringing along to your session so that you’re prepared for whatever happens on the day of your shoot.
5. Wedding Emergency Kit - We’ve got a whole blog (or a youtube video if that’s more your speed) about what to include in an emergency kit. These are little items that can hold things together just long enough to get through the day, or make little touch ups to the blemishes that happen when you’re moving around. Fashion tape, safety pins, and a few tide pens can keep things going for at least a few hours.
4. Bring a Coat or Blanket - Or maybe a wrap or stole in faux fur if you’re feeling particularly extra, if it’s going to be cold of course. You can keep warm between photos or use it in a few shots to get you greater variety. A cute umbrella can help in other weather just in case.
3. Flowers! - Some florists will work with you on including a bridal bouquet, and sometimes you can just go with something inexpensive so you’ve got a bit to do with your hands (and it helps complete that bridal look).
2. Accessories - Of course there’s jewelry and your veil, but what if you’re thinking of something more ambitious? There are all kinds of props that can go into a bridal session - you want to go for a couch in a field of wildflowers? Maybe you want to be in a horse drawn carriage? What about your cool dog? Let your imagination be your only limit.
1. Get some Comfortable Shoes - It’s hard to stress this enough, but if you’re doing an adventurous bridal session then you’ll want to bring along a comfortable pair of shoes that will help you navigate the day. If you really want to get some shots of your shoes, you can always slip into them during the shoot, but why hike down to that beautiful waterfall in heels?
